Commercial Description:
Firestone Pale Ale offers a rich, crisply hopped character with a medium malt profile. Nuances of toffee and vanilla unfold across a bright, clean texture. Dry hopping establishes an assertive American hop aroma and flavor.

On tap @ Firestone Walker poured a clear gold with a small diminishing white head. Aromas of carmel, citrus and pine. Palate was light bodied. Flavors of carmel, lemon and a hint of orange with a lingering moderately bitter finish.

Pours a nice copper color with a good head. A sweet fruity hoppy aftertaste and smooth.

Bottled. Beer is a clear, medium orange with a small, frothy, white head that vaporizes immediately. The aroma is malty with light notes of toasted grain; Hoppy with a moderate notes of lemon, flowers and iced tea, trace of resin/pine. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter with a longer than average, lightly-to-moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly sweet finish. The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is fizzy. I have really enjoyed the delicate, refreshing notes in this beer. It’s highly drinkable, yet still reasonably complex.

Blind rating, bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy, off-white, fully diminishing. Body is light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (grapefruit). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Dreadfully straightforward and uninspiring.

This is a solid pale ale. Medium head and a nice hoppy aroma even if its a little thin on body.

Bottle from State Line. Dark straw pour with 1-finger white head. Aroma of fruity hops, citrus, some caramel malts, and tropical fruit. Tastes of caramel malt and fruit up front, with mid-palate hops and citrus, all very well balanced. I could see this becoming a summer session beer for me.

Had on tap in California. Nothing really special about this beer. Thought the Double Barrell really made this one seem week and with little taste.

Pours a medium golden yellow with a small white head. Aromas of hops, citrus, and malts. Flavors of hops and grains, kinda thin. Nice clean crisp finish.
