| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 1, 2006 Bottled. Beer is a clear, medium orange with a small, frothy, white head that vaporizes immediately. The aroma is malty with light notes of toasted grain; Hoppy with a moderate notes of lemon, flowers and iced tea, trace of resin/pine. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter with a longer than average, lightly-to-moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly sweet finish. The body is light, the texture is watery and the carbonation is fizzy. I have really enjoyed the delicate, refreshing notes in this beer. It’s highly drinkable, yet still reasonably complex. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 22, 2006 Bottle from State Line. Dark straw pour with 1-finger white head. Aroma of fruity hops, citrus, some caramel malts, and tropical fruit. Tastes of caramel malt and fruit up front, with mid-palate hops and citrus, all very well balanced. I could see this becoming a summer session beer for me. T2Tool (352), Murfreesboro, Tennessee, USA

Thought the Double Barrell really made this one seem week and with little taste. oldrtybastrd (1823), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA
