Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy, deep gold with a small, foamy, white head. This one has poor head retention, but decent lacing.
Aroma: Floral and pine hops are very vibrant and forward. Light caramel and toasted malt notes. Just a bit of grapefruit too.
Taste: The grapefruit takes a bigger part of the stage on the tongue. Light biscuit notes, light grass, and a bit of dust round out the taste. Lighter on the tongue than I was expecting based on the aroma, but still quite good.
Palate: Medium carbonation with a light mouthfeel and a medium-short finish. The finish has just a bit of bitterness on the very back of the tongue. Light and delicate on the tongue.
Overall: A light, well made beer that is worth trying and constructed well enough to enjoy again and again. Finally, a good session beer!
Rebuy: Definitely. Give this one a go if you get the chance. cryfreedmb (113), Ocean, New Jersey, USA
