Commercial Description:
Firestone Pale Ale offers a rich, crisply hopped character with a medium malt profile. Nuances of toffee and vanilla unfold across a bright, clean texture. Dry hopping establishes an assertive American hop aroma and flavor.

clear gold... like macro clear, thin white head, delicate yet non-discript hop nose, cascadey, flavor is pretty ’meh’, not much going on here, slightly bitter and quite refreshing, I’m not getting any bold hop flavors and am certainly not getting that toffee or any sort of malt complexity, finishes dry, pretty average pale ale.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle. Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy, deep gold with a small, foamy, white head. This one has poor head retention, but decent lacing. Aroma: Floral and pine hops are very vibrant and forward. Light caramel and toasted malt notes. Just a bit of grapefruit too. Taste: The grapefruit takes a bigger part of the stage on the tongue. Light biscuit notes, light grass, and a bit of dust round out the taste. Lighter on the tongue than I was expecting based on the aroma, but still quite good. Palate: Medium carbonation with a light mouthfeel and a medium-short finish. The finish has just a bit of bitterness on the very back of the tongue. Light and delicate on the tongue. Overall: A light, well made beer that is worth trying and constructed well enough to enjoy again and again. Finally, a good session beer! Rebuy: Definitely. Give this one a go if you get the chance.

22oz. Bottle: Faint aroma of hops, citrus, and grapefruit. Poured golden/amber in color with a small to medium-sized, dense, creamy, off-white head that diminished but lasted as a thin film on top of the beer. Slightly hazy. Sparkling. Good lacing. Flavor is light sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of toasted malts, slight caramel, hops, slight citrus, slight grapefruit, and some cereal. Light to medium body. Slightly thin, slightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Light caramel malt, light hop finish is lightly dry.
