Wisps of it stayed around until I was at the bottom of the glass. The aroma is noticeable almost immediately upon opening the bottle, with scents of citrus and floral. The taste was really goodwith citrus-like bitterness from the presence of hops, but at the same time wasn’t so citrusy that the line between beer and fruit juice was blurred. Although the citrus-like flavor of grapefruit or lemons is what dominates at first, on the second or third taste I noticed more balance with the malts, bringing in an almost under-taste of sweet grains. The finish is dry and sweet at the same time, with little kick as the carbonation level is medium to low. Saarlander (1583), Rancho Cucamonga, California, USA

Good hopy, citrus aroma.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 11, 2005 Small offwhite head, short lived with scattered lacing. Good clarity, light copper color. Light hop and malt nose, citrus, light pine and a touch earthy with some grainy malt notes. Body is med/light. Citrusy hop flavors, lightly grainy and doughy malts are seemingly well balanced. Finish is fairly dry. A nice APA. Dough77 (779), Aurora, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 1, 2005 Barely average IPA, pour was nice golden amber color. Slight off hop presence in the aroma, with more malt than anticipated. Well balanced, but just doesnt really click with the buds. dberger624 (1028), Phila, Pennsylvania, USA
