Commercial Description:
Firestone Pale Ale offers a rich, crisply hopped character with a medium malt profile. Nuances of toffee and vanilla unfold across a bright, clean texture. Dry hopping establishes an assertive American hop aroma and flavor.

Just a basic pale - they do a good job on it but its pretty run of the mill. Good hop flavor, not sweet, and not at all cloudy. A little weak on the ABV so that takes away points, otherwise a solid choice.

This is an APA that won’t knock you’re socks off. It is just about perfect for the style however. So if you are looking for the next bigger, hoppier APA this ain’t it. It is just a well executed APA with no bad character whatsoever. Pours a light amber with a good-sized white head and a fair amount of lacing. Aroma is citrus floral hops. Taste is mildly bitter citrus hops with an ideal amount of sweet malt. The perfect session APA for me. The problem is that it is hard to find in Oregon. I bought the last bottle at the store today. Just bought another bomber. As good as the first. Exceptional APA. Buy some now. Especially at the low 4.8% abv. Great session beer.

APPEARANCE: Pours a slightly hazy gold color with a small white head that dissipates quickly. There is a small amount of lacing. SMELL: Pleasant aroma of orange, apricots and sweet dough. Also some pine. TASTE: Smooth slightly sweet with nice balance of citrusy hops. Finishes with a little grassy bitterness. MOUTHFEEL Medium body with slight syrupy texture. Moderate carbonation. Finishes a bit dry. DRINKABILITY: Very easy drinking beer. Not too sweet and not to bitter. Nothing exciting but a great session beer. NOTES: BBCSD-0812-Dan
