Best beer @ the festival IMHO, and the best beer I’ve rated. Pours black w/ a small head w/ good retention. Alcohol, vanilla, chocolate, bourbon, and coconut w/ a long after taste. A light mouthfeel. Very drinkable. Similar to Dark Lord, but much more complex. ratman197 (3250), Arvada, Colorado, USA

Aromas of bourbon, oak, chocolate, roastiness and light vanilla. Palate was medium to full bodied and smooth. Flavors of bourbon, oak, vanilla, chocolate and light roastiness with a smooth lingering lightly sweet finish. A truly great and drinkable Imperial Stout! Angeloregon (2025), Portland, Oregon, USA

But i will definitly grant it first place on my list until i can sample it again someday. From what i remember, It was silky smooth with a nose of vanilla and coffe. It reminded me very much of the Alesmith Speedway Stout, except it had less coffee and some more complexity to it. Vanilla, Anis, hops, raisins, Lots of coffee and a dense rich body. Nice slightly sweet roasted finish. Hophead22 (1105), Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA

Integrated aromas of dark chocolate, dark fruit, vanilla, bourbon and coconut. Flavor is amazingly complex, with similar notes in the flavor as in the aroma. This one really shows Firestone Walkers great barrel aging ability and gave Oak Aged Dark Lord a run for its money.
