Had this yesterday on tap at the brewery. Pours a medium dark amber that is very cloudy. Smell is a pretty good, maybe I just expected more from the"Unfilltered" part. Good, but nothing special. The mouth was very complex. Oak is there for sure, along with some grains, and hops at the finish. Very drinkable brew, and wish they bottled it.

Tap at the Paso Robles brewery. Very nice murky golden color. Smelled very fresh and clean. Crisp snappy flavor, this is how a pale ale should be.

Growler shared by Odeed. Nose of caramel, light floral hops, and some oaky vanilla. Light hazy copper-orange with a small, off white, glass lacing head. Flavor is light bitterness, vanilla, a caramel note, and light fruitiness.

Draught at the brewery tasting room. A touch lighter amber than the regular double barrel, smooth malty aroma with some oak and spicy hops. The flavor has way more oak and some vanilla. Smooth and balanced feel in the mouth. The bartender said that this version is 100% the oak fermented portion that is blended into the normal version, and I think that the extra character and smoothness that this brings sets it above. It’s too bad that they don’t have the capacity to bottle this.

Unfiltered version sampled at the brewery. Slightly murky, light yeast and spiced rum nose, thicker than filtered version, syrupy, maple, bread, butter rum... good stuff.

Cask at Stone at the 13th on the 13th event. Nice to have this brew. Pours orangey with a 1 finger tan head. Nose is very sweet, very nice. Taste is sweet somewhat rich and malty, balanced and extremely quaffable.

Nose of wood, hops, caramel and oak. Full and round mouthfeel with soft bitterness and good earthy malt notes. Clean and soft finish.
