Feb 21, 2009 Grassy lemon with mild pine aroma and some bready caramel in the background.
Pours a light gold color with a light copper hue. Off white head that dissipated with a smidgin of sediment suspension that disappeared.
Concentrated taste of caramel malt and lots of hops with the flavors of pine, pine needles, and a hint of grapefruit. Other hop flavors include lemon/lime with an alcolhol warming that is not astringent.
Medium bodied, resinous, and has lively soft carbonation.
Very drinkable session IPA at 7.5% yum.

Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy west coast hoppy aroma. Medium to full body with a oily slick texture with flat carbonation. Moderate to heavy bitter flavor with a moderate to heavy bittersweet finish of medium to long duration.
Very good brew.

Feb 15, 2009 Regular IPAs and I have a troubled relationship, usually I find them too watered down, but this one here is a different story. Very pronounced and tasty and certainly more palatable than our east coasters. Smooth and bitter, most everything I want in a regular IPA. Nice to have when I’m going to be driving or in a situation where I can’t have a DIPA, but seeing as I can’t regularly get FSW here anyway, I’m still without a good session IPA.

Feb 5, 2009 Amber with a thin white head. Aroma is a nice pine, with light malty sweetness, light grapefruit, and floral notes. Taste is a nice strong, but smooth bitterness with orange peel. Pretty potent IPA.

Feb 2, 2009 12oz bottle from some corner market in San Francisco. A surprisingly solid IPA in the same mold as Stone Ruination and such (but much easier on the hops). Copper color and medium white head. Average carbonation. Nice floral hop aroma. Floral with citrusy hops, great taste and high drinkability. Really smooth mouthfeel. "Blimey, this is bloody good," as those Brits would say.

Jan 29, 2009 Bottle at the Stuffed Sandwich. After a day of moving this was just perfect. Light white head, orange gold body, not too citric hops, nor piney, with above average bitterness and all in all nearly on the malty side for darkness.

Jan 29, 2009 Oh where has this brewery and beer been all my life. Thanks to snojerk for getting me on of these finally. Looks a surprisingly clear copper color. Incredible pine and floral hop aroma. Smells thick with sweetness as well. Flavor is bitter grapefruit upfront. In the background is a caramel sweetness that cuts through all that bitterness. It looks like it is going to be thin but this is a full bodied, full flavored beer.

Jan 23, 2009 Pours a copper with almost no head. Flavor is pungent hop with a nice bready finish. High on the bitterness hop scale, but also pretty strong in florals as well. Has a fully-encompassing tongue-scraping bitterness that I do love. Not really sessionable, but great as an after dinner IPA.
