12 oz. bottle courtesy of Secret Santa. Pours a clear lighter amber color with a small white head that diminishes to a thin layer. The aroma is very fresh citrusy hops, some floral notes, and some moderately sweet toasty malt. The flavor is a nice balance between the moderately sweet caramel malt and the citrus/pine hoppy bitterness. The finish is skewed toward the bitter side with a lingering citrus finish. Medium bodied and easy to drink on a hot summer day. This is a solid IPA.

Tasted during outage: Another great American IPA with just the right balance of aroma and flavor so as to not conk you over the head with hops, but they’re there to let you know the beer is a serious IPA. Very drinkable, despite the alchohol. RERATED on 08/15/09... This stuff was super fresh, absolutely killer... the only other IPA that is better is the Yulesmith. Absolutely wonderful pine, grapefruit aromas, crisp, bright, and sublime... color of burnt orange amber, clear... alcohol is hidden very well. It has been over a year since I last tasted this one... and I’m loving it. It’s rare when a beer impresses me even more the 2nd time.

From a 12 oz bottle this poured a clear gold with a medium foamy white head and good lacing. Nose of citrus and piney hops with a nice smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is grapefruit and pines. Long lingering bitter finish. This is great stuff. Glad I have five bottles left.

Bottle courtesy of mgumby10. Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of citrus, some pine, hints of dough, grass. Tastes bitter and citrussy with a touch of spiciness on the finish. Great brew!

Bottle… Clear, light golden ale with a small, frothy, white head. Tropical and citrus fruit aroma. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with relaxed carbonation. Fruity flavor with tannic bitterness. Toffee sweetness and grapefruit pith bitterness finish things off. Thanks go out to mgumby10 for the brew!
