Commercial Description:
A singularly distinctive beer that represents our finest brewing efforts, Walker’s Reserve is an elegant dark ale featuring robust flavors of espresso, caramel and bittersweet chocolate. This wood-conditioned brew employs five specialty malts along with smooth silky oats for added complexity and flavor. Gentle English Goldings and spicy American Cascade hops together lend a perfect finish to this big, bittersweet ale. Somewhere between porter and stout, this unfiltered and bottle-conditioned beer is produced in small batches for the true connoisseur.

Bottle thanks to Hophead22, thanks for this one. Poured dark black with nice vream head. Aroma was chocolate coffee and a bit of sweetness. Taste is similar with some caramel and a bit of hops. Finish is very nice and smooth. A nice porter but Firestone.

Now this is what a beer should look like. Dark velvety color with aroma of oak barrels. Thick and creamy white head. Spicy flavor with strong espresso notes

Poured deep deep brown with a two-finger head with decent lacing. Aromas of coffee and a little bit of chocolate and dark fruit. Roasted coffee is the dominant flavor, with some caramel and chocolate in the background. Very little offset from the hops. Lighlty carbonated, slightly watery mouthfeel, and a pleasant roasted malt aftertaste. Just doesn’t hold up to other premium porters.

Bottle. Pours a dark black color, big creamy white head, very creamy lacing. Big roasted malts in the nose, hoppy floral notes, some chocolate. Nice roasted qualities, coffee grounds, chocolate notes. Tasty, smooth and very drinkable.

Pours a very dark brown, near black in color. About an inch of head forms on the pour. Don’t know what’s going on in the smell, but it seems a bit "minerally". Taste is plenty of roasted malts and coffee. Plenty of carbonation with a full mouthfeel. Another good beer from Firestone. It would be nice to have their stuff distributed here.

A nice woody roasty aroma. A good robust flavor, as the name implies. Rich, chocolaty, but not too much. Good stuff.

Dark brown to black in color with a good tan head. Smell is roasted malts, caramel, coffee, and chocolate. Taste goes pretty much with the smell as far a flavors go. Smooth going down. Good.

Thanks to Eric for this bottle--Poured a chocolate dark brown with a handsome frothy tan head that dissipated soonafter. Nutty, chocolate, roasted nose. Chew, complex with hints of vanilla, tobacco, almond, and finished with some herbal hoppiness. Well built like the tires. Yum!
