| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 20, 2008 Poured deep deep brown with a two-finger head with decent lacing. Aromas of coffee and a little bit of chocolate and dark fruit. Roasted coffee is the dominant flavor, with some caramel and chocolate in the background. Very little offset from the hops. Lighlty carbonated, slightly watery mouthfeel, and a pleasant roasted malt aftertaste. Just doesn’t hold up to other premium porters. gunhaver (1043), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 6, 2008 Pours a very dark brown, near black in color. About an inch of head forms on the pour. Don’t know what’s going on in the smell, but it seems a bit "minerally". Taste is plenty of roasted malts and coffee. Plenty of carbonation with a full mouthfeel. Another good beer from Firestone. It would be nice to have their stuff distributed here. dwyerpg (2545), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Nutty, chocolate, roasted nose. Chew, complex with hints of vanilla, tobacco, almond, and finished with some herbal hoppiness. Well built like the tires. Yum!
