Commercial Description:
This golden-hued ale has a distinctively balanced malt character and finishes with light toffee notes, a suggestion of nuts, and a clean brisk bitterness. The aroma is fruity and floral, with hints of orange from the hops, a soft smokiness, and vanilla from the medium toasted oak. NOTE: no longer made, replaced by the Firestone Pale Ale (an APA, not an EPA).

Gold color, medium head. Medium malty, hoppy ale. Crisp malt flavor, good hop balance. Some subtle fruity overtones. Finish is clean, Aftertaste is delicately bitter. Very nice.

Excellent Pale Ale. Sweet citrusy aroma upon pouring. Smooth finish - doesn’t leave a lingering taste in the mouth like some pales tend to do. Just the right amount of hoppiness.

Top rate beer. Very flavorful, hoppy with strong malt nose. The Burton Union system has been revived for a great beer.

A solid west coast pale ale. Orange brew, good label. Citrus gel, west coast hops, sweet and bitter flavors. C02 sting. Some nutty tones when you lick yer moustache. Fast finish on a satisfying light palate.

Seems like Firestone likes to take on English influnces. Nose shows shortbread beneath a typically Californian citric aroma. Palate is smooth, lightly carbonated. Flavor has a biscuity malt that’s just a little dry and too light but is pleasing anyway. There’s some peppery spice towards the end and a good lemony citrus finish.

Quite hoppy...I would classify it as an APA not an English PA, but that’s probably just me. Not balanced enough, has too thin a body. These brewers are clearly craftsmen; this one is just one-dimensional. It’s pretty good.

Ccolor- gold. Head- thick, medium retention, no lace. Aroma- orangey? sweet? Heavy hop finish but thin in front.
