Aug 18, 2002 Excellent Pale Ale. Sweet citrusy aroma upon pouring. Smooth finish - doesn’t leave a lingering taste in the mouth like some pales tend to do. Just the right amount of hoppiness.

Sep 15, 2002 Seems like Firestone likes to take on English influnces. Nose shows shortbread beneath a typically Californian citric aroma. Palate is smooth, lightly carbonated. Flavor has a biscuity malt that’s just a little dry and too light but is pleasing anyway. There’s some peppery spice towards the end and a good lemony citrus finish.

Sep 23, 2002 Gold color, medium head. Medium malty, hoppy ale. Crisp malt flavor, good hop balance. Some subtle fruity overtones. Finish is clean, Aftertaste is delicately bitter. Very nice.

Nov 18, 2002 Golden colour with a white head. Citrusy hop aroma. Dry bitter flavour with a hint of malt underneath. A good APA, but what keeps it from being great is the lack of complexityt in hop flavour.
