Aroma reminds of pound cake, pound cake dunked in white vinegar, easter eggs. Despite odd aromas, it’s still enticing. Flavors are mineral, fresh and crisp. Nice enough quaff that I easily got past the diacetyl nose.

Rustic, funky aromas include lactic and pedio aromas. Quaffable, granular palate. The flavors are cleaner than the nose indicates. Some citrus flavors come out. It’s actually a fun but farmy beer. jfb (461), Weihenstephan, Germany
