It didn’t have much of a malt flavor and a little too bitter. hotstuff (3015), Indiana, USA Oct 28, 2004 Bottle at the Fisher’s Hotel Garni in Mossingen, Germany. Carbonated and transparent appearance with fair lacing and a pale yellow hue. Malty, hoppy and a slight skunky aroma. Malty flavor. Mouthfeel was tingly. Light-medium bodied beer. thedm (3405), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Oct 10, 2004 The DM & Hotstuff’s European Honeymoon trip beer number 57. This free draft brew given to me by the brew master Heinrich Fischer from the brewery on Mossingen Germany poured a medium sized head of finely sized foamy mostly lasting bubbles that left behind a carbonated transparent yellow colored body until Hotstuff poured in the thick yeast at the bottom of the bottle upon which it turned very cloudy. It had a mildly bready aroma and a tingly start with a smooth finish to the mouth feel with a lingering tingly sensation on the sides of my tongue. The yeast in the glass definitely changed the flavor compared to Hotstuff’s whose glass received no yeast at all. With out the yeast, the flavor is more clean and has a thiner palate and a much less yeasty flavor.
