Bottle. Ruby beer with a thin off-white head. Citrusy, oaky, slight sherry aroma. LIghter bodied than expected. Oaky flavor with pine and grapefruit that lingers. A bit muddled. I can imagine it being a lot hoppier in the past, but it’s mellowed now and doesn’t have a strong malt base to give it enough oomph. Slight astringecy.

Malty, rich, and chewy. Good hop present with strong sweet bitterness. Smooth with the alcoholic effect kickin’ in strong after the fact. great brew?? Thanks goes to Ohiodad.

A deep ornage amber color with a light head. The aroma was strong and full of hops. This was an IPA to the tilt. This was a hard beer to put down and at times wow it was a botty kicker This gave me a headache it was so full of flavors and very high in alochol.

Bottle. Aroma is the most intense mixture of hops I’ve ever experienced. I’d give it a 10 if it wasn’t all hops and alcohol, but for a hophead this is the holy grail. Color is a clear dark red with a patchy haze of a white head. Flavor interesting, but not entirely pleasant. It lacks the complexity to balance out the bitterness, and even the bitterness itself is somewhat one-dimensional. Mouthfeel is remarkably smooth with a kick from the bitterness.

resampled at a lower temperature, which made the hop profile much more tolerable, even if it didn’t do anything to enhance the flavor.

Bottle courtesy of hopdog. Way too sweet and cloying for me. Tons of hops, yet no discernable hop profile. Thiss recipe needs some retooling.

The HEAVY brew is so smooth--so luscious on the tongue--that you don’t realize just how HEAVY it is until you get a ways into the glass (and the temp comes up a bit). Wonderful spicy, loamy, citrusy hop blend. Erotic mouthfeel. Viscous going down. HEAVY once down. Advice: split a bottle and you won’t be disappointed. (22oz bottle)

Bottle. Rusty orange pour with a yellowed off white head. Aroma of earthy hops, brown sugar and caramel malt. Flavor had some light spice, caramel malt, earhy hops as well. Medium bodied...malty throughout with a smooth bittersweet finish.

How to rank this one on "Palate"?! It’s a bruiser, thickset with two hands full of hop varieties and in abundance. Hop lover’s dream...it runs the gamut, hop hater’s worst horror story (like worse than Leviathan). As far as its look/color: deep brown-tinged-with-sienna subaquiousness...ajacently opaque hues. It’s a bomb of flavor. Unfathomable for the weak-hearted (or one literally having a heart condition)! 100 IBU! 100% radical!
