Bottled, thanks to René for sharing. Orange coloured with an off white head. Aroma of malts, caramel and hops with fruity notes. Sweet flavour of malts, caramel, pine needles, grape fruit and hops.

03 bottle , Brandy snifter Nice clear copper with a light tan 3" head that fades to foam islands.Aroma is big malt with clove spiciness and a tinge of earthy yeastiness no hops! in this aged sample. The taste is smoky phenolic caramel malt with hop bitterness but not much hop flavor. Not having a fresh example I cant say if its aged for the better. My present hop kick I am on says it hasnt but its still very smooth and drinkable and @10% its very good

Pours a merky browm with chunks of stuff floating around in it.Has a small head that disappeared quickly.Heavy caramel/malt aroma.Has a nice balance of malt and heavy hops.It hides the 10% alc by volume very well! Not the best, but not bad.

Heemer77 ROCKS! Pours a cloudy amber, great creamy orange-off white head. Nose was hops, grapefruit and pine and sticky flowers, a small bit of alcohol and trace wood earth too. This is very nice. The taste hops, lots of hops, some caramel and wood, candy sweetness followed with an almost medicine like middle. The end was sweet and has a creamy slightly full mouth feel. This was great. The lacing was superb as well.

Eerie cloudy deep orange pour with a light layer of beige head. Very strong IIPA aroma... hops were dominant (PNW mostly), yet there was deep caramel, maple, and alcohol in there. Fuller-bodied. Just didn’t move across the palate as smoothly as I had expected. Flavor picked up a whole lot of hops... grapefruit, pine, and floral. Caramel and maple provided an excellent backing. Oak aged characteristics were also clearly evident... vanilla and oak. Alcohol played a major part in the flavor, too.. both in making the flavor more crisp and in warmth on the finish. Nice and complex, and a very fine brew!

Dense burghundy appearance, good head formation. Funky aroma, predominant grapefruit, piney, perfume. Aggressive grapefeuit hopped palate, fairly sharp, strong astringent acidity. Quite a lot going on.

Deep clear red, thick light tan head with good lacing and retention. Good nose, bready and very hoppy, plenty of caramel sweetness, toffee, and sweet fruit. Strong and a bit astringent, lots of pine hops, some woodiness, cookie dough, and finishes sweet. Good, but could use a bit more depth to it, malts kind of disappear in the middle. Nice palate, very rich and creamy, sits softly in the mouth.
