Commercial Description:
The light bodied, golden hued beer has a creamy head that lingers on the glass. Blonde Ale is brewed with a touch of rye malt for a delicate spicy flavor which matches perfectly to the honey sweetness of the pale malt. The delicious malt character is balanced with Tettnanger hops for a gentle bitterness and aromatic finish.

Tap @ EcoBrew Fest - Pours thin and light tan with a medium white head...aroma is floral hops, some grass...flavour is similar and pretty straight forward, slight grain, light bitterness, bit of fruity malt...sweet lingering finish...

The body of this beer is cloudy amber with a big bubble slightly off white head that starts to disappear after a minuet but leaves a good covering over the beer. The aroma is dominated by aggressive fruity hops way to aggressive for the style in my opinion, the aroma is very one dimensional all hops all the time. Watery dish soap mixed with way to much hops is what I taste, hops has taken over this blond ale and not for the better. Even the mouth feel is fairly watery, and the after taste is harshly bitter. When you get right down to it this isn’t really a bad tasting beer, but I believe they have missed the style completely for it, and this isn’t what I was hopping for when I cracked it open

Amber, going orange - lots of tiny suspended micro-particles. Very clear with some head which sticks quite well. Aroma? Lots! But it’s all quite mild but very fresh and good. Sweet fruity malts, overripe peaches, floral hops and a hint of yeast. Once it warms up, a bit of fake grapefruit shows up along side a dusty scent. The mild flavour of honey, malts and an undescribable spice increases and becomes much more obvoius when warmer. There’s also an almost sour bitterness as well. Yum yum. Medium bodied and a soft creaminess contrasts the tangy bitter aftertaste. I’d advise not rushing into this beer. Open it and let it sit for 10 minuits first to really see what this beer is all about. I’ve had it fresh out of the bottle and it’s way better after a bit. Left a tiny pile of sediment in the middle of the bottom of the glass. Very drinkable. Another excellent Fish Tale brew.

Had in the beer garden at the Green Festival at the Seattle Convention Center with my girlfriend. 59th rating of this brew. My 58th Golden/Blonde Ale Rate! Light aroma with hints of sweetness, bread, and biscuits. Some earthy hops as well. Pours golden with a nice fluffy head and some chill haze. Pleasantly sweet light malty notes, bread, biscuits, and a crisp earthy hop finish. It’s a blonde ale, it tastes earthy like many organics do, but it is more pleasant than many.

Tap at brewpub Light, crisp blonde with a nice, subtle hop finish. I’d be the first to admit it’s not got a ton going on, but I really enjoy this beer. Refreshing, and clearly more interesting than lagers. Well done for the style.

Bottle. (Remembered from past tastings) A friend of mine brought this to me from the brewery originally started by his brother. Yes I am biased here. I don’t remember much other than both my friend and his brother were first rate home brewers and I liked everything they brewed so gotta score this respectfully. I’m happy to see that so many years later this brewery lives on.

Draught @ the brewpub. Pours a pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a malty hoppy aroma with some fruity hints. Sweetish malty hoppy citrus flavor. Sweetish malty citrus hoppy finish.
