| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 3, 2009 The body of this beer is cloudy amber with a big bubble slightly off white head that starts to disappear after a minuet but leaves a good covering over the beer. The aroma is dominated by aggressive fruity hops way to aggressive for the style in my opinion, the aroma is very one dimensional all hops all the time. Watery dish soap mixed with way to much hops is what I taste, hops has taken over this blond ale and not for the better. Even the mouth feel is fairly watery, and the after taste is harshly bitter. When you get right down to it this isn’t really a bad tasting beer, but I believe they have missed the style completely for it, and this isn’t what I was hopping for when I cracked it open BroSpud (614), , Massachusetts, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 4/20 | Feb 21, 2009 Bottle. (Remembered from past tastings) A friend of mine brought this to me from the brewery originally started by his brother. Yes I am biased here. I don’t remember much other than both my friend and his brother were first rate home brewers and I liked everything they brewed so gotta score this respectfully. I’m happy to see that so many years later this brewery lives on. spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Apr 22, 2008 Pours hazy gold with copper tones. Fair amount of lacings. Floral aroma.
Taste is well balanced, sweet tasty malt with enough hop presence to give full flavor for the style. Don’t expect an APA this is a Blonde Ale and in that category it is really good. Sometimes I enjoy a respite from the hop bombs that seem to get all the big ratings. Try drinking this as the first beer of the day especially in the hot days of summer. You will enjoy it. Might even have another. auderale (572), Fairchild AFB, Washington, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 16, 2006 A faint salty, oily, ashen salmon/ fishiness (taste more than smell) to go with fish on label, but not as much and as bad as the FT IPA . I do not think I’m imagining it, guys. Earthy. piney, and ashy due to lack of hops, but better balance and spice than their ipa. realale420 (399), west covina, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 14, 2006 12oz bottle poured a clear yellow/gold with a very small white head. Aroma had a piney hop nose with some corn notes and a slight yeast character. Taste was well balanced with a dry aftertaste. Nice drinkable blonde ale.
