Commercial Description:
The light bodied, golden hued beer has a creamy head that lingers on the glass. Blonde Ale is brewed with a touch of rye malt for a delicate spicy flavor which matches perfectly to the honey sweetness of the pale malt. The delicious malt character is balanced with Tettnanger hops for a gentle bitterness and aromatic finish.

Not much to hang your hat on a blonde ale, except the fact that they are usually really easy to drink, refreshing and that’s usually it. This is no different. The aroma had a bit of sewer-like aroma wafting up but after a few swirls it went away. What was left was a very subtle fruit aroma. Appearance was a medium gold color, clear with a one-finger thick white head. Flavors had some moderate honey character, subtle fruit notes and that’s about it. A clean, crisp finish.

12oz Bottle pours out a cloudy straw topped with a small white head. Aroma of light wheat. A light body. Nothing great. Thanks Indiana_Red for this Blonde Ale

Bottle. Dark blonde body, small white head receding quickly, slightly fruity nose. Very grainy, bland, not much here.

On tap. Golden body with a thin white head. Vague fruity aroma. Flavor is refreshing, grainy and fruity. A bit thin body and not really very impressive.

The body of this beer is cloudy amber with a big bubble slightly off white head that starts to disappear after a minuet but leaves a good covering over the beer. The aroma is dominated by aggressive fruity hops way to aggressive for the style in my opinion, the aroma is very one dimensional all hops all the time. Watery dish soap mixed with way to much hops is what I taste, hops has taken over this blond ale and not for the better. Even the mouth feel is fairly watery, and the after taste is harshly bitter. When you get right down to it this isn’t really a bad tasting beer, but I believe they have missed the style completely for it, and this isn’t what I was hopping for when I cracked it open

Very present rye bread in the aroma, that completely ruins the flavor profile, I would not ever think of making this type of beer with an addition of rye. A very present alcohol weight, honey and just a hint of herbal hoppiness.
