Nov 8, 2005 A brown beer with a small brown head. The aroma is somewhat light with notes of wood, caramel, and alcohol, on a sweet background. The flavor is sweet with notes of over ripe fruits and light notes of alcohol. Nice.

Mar 30, 2008 22 fl oz bottle@fonefan/Brugmansia’s Cnudde tasting. Pours dark brown with a light orange hue. Dark malty aroma. Light woody and minor fruity note too. Flavour is dark malty, fruity and quite hoppy with a dry finish. Lingering bitterness into the far finish.

Clear medium amber red brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted. raisin, plum, dark fruit, light hoppy, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (290308)

Jul 17, 2005 Dark brown colour. Rich malty aroma - earthy, toffee, caramel all well extracted. Lots of toffee, hints of wood on the palate. Really chewy, almost molasses-like. Big malt finish. A touch simplistic and the flavour doesn’t come through as boldly as the aroma.
