Poured cloudy orange amber color with a large frothy off-white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate fruity and doughy yeast aroma. Medium body. Medium complex balanced flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. i would recommend this to a freind. nick76 (2694), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 22, 2006 The aroma like most things about this beer is not exactly like most Belgian, but that does not keep this from being a great beer. The aroma has malt, alcohol, fruit, citrus hops, and yeast. The appearance is copper orange with some haze and a small head. The flavor is outstanding if not complex. The palate is chewy. Overall it’s great. Palidor19 (1798), Brandon, Florida, USA

Rich and fruity wit h a strong but not overpowering taste. Its wonderfully thick with malts that dances around the palate. Well done, try this ASAP twindadplus2 (417), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 5, 2006 Hazy orange with a very thin white head. Very mild aroma of honey-sweet malt and yeast. Taste of sweet malt and orangey citrus fading to a yeasty, herbal finish. Low end of medium bodied and a bit heavier carbonation than I expected. Not what I expected from a tripel at all. A bit of a disappointment actually, especially considering the price. bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 4, 2006 Bottled. Pours a hazy golden orange with a paper-thin white head. Not much aroma, but some light notes of caramel and grass appear. Medium body with minimal carbonation. Slightly sweet taste with some caramel and nuts, leading to an herbal and vaguely spicy finish. Not much going on here. pintbypint (1025), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 21, 2006 12 oz brown bottle. Pours orangey gold, fast vanishing off white head. Very light haze to the beer. Aroma is orangey and honeyish. Sweet malt flavours, caramel, orange notes, US hop flavours, slight grapefruity and herbal hop presence in the finish along with some alcohol, and very faint yeast. Medium bodied, light carbonation. chimpscampee (566), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 11, 2006 Updated: Oct 14, 2006Not cloying or soapy like most of the abbey triples I’ve tried. Tangy sweet citris ( orange peel, pear, fig , grape?) alongside a dry hoppiness. My only objection was this single cost me 3.50 but I guess that is reasonable compared to some. The americanized versions of this style appear at least more accessible.
