Jul 27, 2005 Pours a "clean" orange, small white head. Aroma of strong apple, coriander and orange. Flavor is malty and fruity, oranges apples. Acidic palate, nice brew. Thanks to JPDipso for sharing this one!

Jul 26, 2005 MrFacto’s ’Tosa tasting, brought by JPDIPSO. Cloudy orange body with abundant yeast sediment; off-white light creamy head. Aroma was mostly bready malt and yeast with hints of caramel and crackers. Sweet, lightly tart, caramely body, very bready and toasty and slightly vinous. Nice sweet mouthfeel enhanced by alcohol notes in the finish. Interesting for the style and quite enjoyable.

Jul 23, 2005 12 oz. Bottle. Medium gold with a creamy head and lacing. Nose of hay, lime, and honey. Honey and sweet lime (citrus) in the flavor. Creamy texture. Sweet finish. I miss the old version of this beer.

Jul 21, 2005 pours hazy dark golden with lots of sediment. Yeasty candy sugar aroma with some caramel in the background. Flavor is full of residuel sugar. Very yeasty and doughy. Long yeasty aftertaste. Decent overall. Maybe slighlty underrated.

Jul 4, 2005 Bottle: Courtesy of Styles. Strong buttery caramel and fruit aroma with some light yeastiness. Pours a cloudy orange with an insignificant white head. Lots of caramel in the flavor with some fruit and yeastiness. Finishes with a light citrus and a touch of hops. Apparently in the minority on this one, but I really liked it.

Jul 3, 2005 Pours a hazy orange golden with a thin white head. Aroma is rich , malty and sweet with some mild alcohol and sugary yeasty notes. Body starts full with some gritty sugary sweetness, a touh of Belgian yeastiness and a mild, lightly warming finish. Has some good complexity throughout and the sweetness is nice, not too cloying. Overall a complex, yet quite drinkable brew, but could probably use a touch more balance and authenticity.

Jun 25, 2005 Discount Liquors, Milwaukee, WI - 12 oz bottle. Pours a sediment filled bright orange with a thin, tight white head. Slight bubble gum aroma with some lemon accents, but not very pronounced. Sweet candied sugar flavor, some bubblegum notes, a bit of cloves. Mouthfeel is thick and creamy and not as spritzy as some tripels can be. Overall, a decent entry from Fish, one of my favorite brewers, but expected just a tad more.
