Jul 27, 2008 Bottled - tasted blind. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as lighter notes of spices, elderberries, and dusty hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of dust, and caramel, leading to a dry and OK bitter finish.

Jul 27, 2008 From bottle #15 at sk8vikings American blind tasting. Pours hazy orange with lacing white head. Spiced and mild citric aroma. Flavour is fruity and caramel malty. Lingering malty and caramelish. Simple yet spiced enoguh to provide the brew some complexity. Lingering caramelish finish.

Mar 13, 2005 Updated: Mar 22, 2006After a disastrous bottle that I purchased at the brewery last year, I was happy to find this on tap at Stumbling Monk for a re-rate. Cloudy beige. Some light alcohol and esters in the aroma. Slightly lemony but overall quite spicy, malty and complex with light alcohol dryness. Quality tripel. Glad I found it again.
