She pours a nice copper with a tiny head. Nose is standard barleywine/old ale.....toffee, scotch, vanilla, wood, earthy and citrus hops......very tasty. Body is medium, carbonation is light. Strong alcohol aroma with a slight caramel sweetness. Medium bodied with light carbonation.Has a strong sweet malt, smokiness dominating the flavor. Hops are notable only in their absence. Aroma was very sweet, full of caramel, toffee, and maybe some raisins or figs. Taste is mostly the same; very sweet on the tongue with the toffee taste in the forefront. The flavor was also very sweet and I detected a hint of chocolate and maybe a little booziness as well. Overall an enjoyable beer that I would drink again if I was in a sweet mood.
