| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 16, 2006 A refreshing ale, amber in body with an off-white head. The aroma is cookie dough and caramel, sweet, but not cloying. The flavor is caramel and baked chocolate chip cookie dough sans the chips, lightly fruity, with just enough earthy hop bitterness to balance it out. Seems like there was a lemon twist in the finish. Okay.

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 31, 2005 Had this bottled in Hawaii. The beer poured a clear, dark amber with a small, fizzy, off-white mostly diminishing head. The aroma was full of character: Light malty notes of toasted grain, sweet cookie and caramel; moderatley hoppy notes of flower, lemon and sweet apricot and a pretty honey aroma tha was a real tail wagger. The flavor is moderately sweet and a trace bitter with a long, moderately sweet / lightly bitter finish. The body is light-to-medium with a creamy texture with lively carbonation. oldrtybastrd (1801), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 16, 2005 Pours a clear amber color with a thin offwhite head. The first thing that hits me in the aroma is hops that feels a bit spicy, it’s a good start, then I notice the sweet caramel malts. The flavor is good with spicy hops and caramel malts, it begins on the sweet side and finishes mildly bitter. The palate is light and oily and the carbonation is soft. Interesting hops in there but a more thick and rounded malt would have helped a lot. Thanks to my not so secret santa, Presario. Crockett (904), Steelback County, Ontario, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 12, 2005 Red amber with a limp frothy white head. Light citric, cereal, and caramel nose. Modestly sweet with orange, grain, and half decent hops. In the end it’s only the sum of it’s parts and is pretty boring. Ughsmash (4035), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 9, 2005 Bottled. Clear medium orange pour with a ring of white head. Dry, vegetal aroma with caramel, honey, smoked malt, and some floral hoppage... the veggie-ness was unpleasant and distracting (sorta like young compost). Enjoyed the smoky aspect, though. Same story in the flavor... little more honey and caramel, but the veggies were stronger, too. Once again, enjoyed the smoke. Didn’t do it for me. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 20, 2005 Aroma is malty, but still manages to be a touch sharp like a sniff of ripe citrus. Light orange/red in color with a head that starts out big and compresses down to pinky thickness with a firm white head. Has a kind of hard candy/caramel sweetness to it that coats the tongue...lots of malt plavors..a dash of grains. mnurda (434), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
