| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 5, 2008 Bottle. Aroma of huge honey, not typical hints of honey you might get in a beer, but rather gooey, straight from the hive, unpasteurized honey. Also some strawberry and sweet cherry are in there on a distant bed of wafer malt. Flavor sweet but crisply sweet with a tart edge, more prominent are the fruits rather than the honey from the nose. Medium-bodied, but not at all watery. Refreshing. Nice beer, and a unique amber. LilBeerDoctor (1528), East Setauket, New York, USA
