Hazy amber color. Light aroma of caramel, smoked herring, not bad. But the flavor (light sweet caramel) is too light and the final to weak.

12oz bottle-pours a thin light tan head and slightly hazy amber color. Aroma is medium malt-toffee, some cocoa, fruit. Taste is medium malt-toffee, some cocoa, fruit, faint spice hops, some roastiness/nuttiness, nice balance. Easy drinking. Light/medium body. OK carbonation.

pours a little on the cloudy side, lively carbonation, orange-amber with a small dirty yellow/white head, the foam dissipates very rapidly. smell is orange spice, caramel, roasted nuts, tingles the nose a bit from the perfume. taste is organic... i don’t know what it is but every organic beer i try has a definite funk taste to it, spice, body is creamy, leaves the mouth oily, sweetness, malts. this beer would be much better without the organic funk, but i guess you just cant get away from that, otherwise it is a good beer.

I ordered the IPA from bottletrek.com, but I got the amber. A bit of a let down since I’m a big fan of the barley wine. Bit of spices. Not like other Ambers I know. Bit hoppy. Kind of an odd beer.

355ml bottle.
Pours a hazy copper brown with a medium tan/greyish head. Aroma of feint malt and a fruity caramel sweetness. Taste is sour and sweet with a hop accents. Light feelAbrupt watery finish with a very fleeting lightly bitter aftertaste. Interesting beer.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Degarth. Clear, warm amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. Lightly sweet, caramellish aroma. Medium body, a little low in carbonation, lightly sweet caramel malts and a very subdued bitterness. The mouthfeel is smooth and soft. An absolutely unspectacular Amber, but a pleasant and quaffable one. 270907

Bottle. [Courtesy of Papsoe] Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Amber color. Spare lacework. Aroma of caramel, hint of floral, grain, roasted malt and nutty notes with light fruity feel. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Balanced bitter and sweet flavor. Light sweet finish.

Amber color, small white head. Bready malty nose. Malty, bready, typical pale ale with decent malt profile. A bit too light (4 % only).
