Beautiful color, subtle aroma with a hint of Irish heritage. Excellent hop notes, great balance of strength and spice for a smooth rich flavor. Pleasant long lasting rosie aftertaste with a woody tea like base. Very good beer with lots of natural character. Leaves me feeling satisfied long after the alcohol has left. The organic ingredients gives the beer and brewer an opportunity for quality and attention to detail in the flavor process. I love it and it’s a favorite of mine. Close to being a perfect beer but needs a just a hint more of malted skunkiness. I recommend it!

When it comes to fishtales i'm an automatic fan this one isn't an exception to that very nice dark amber color, small to no head what so ever.Malty sweet aroma with a small spiciness and a definate hop presence, and a slight hint of fruit as well.Malty taste, mild fruit tones with a strong presence of hops that just leap out at you.there is also a slight sweetness to this brew that fades to hops quickly, leaving you with a slight spicey, citrus, hop after taste. This is a fine brew and well worth trying more then once, but worth having around on a regular basis.

Has a lovely, slightly smoky flavor, even though it is not labeled as smoked. Is that from the Santiam hops (a variety I was not familiar with)? Or does the organic process feature smoke? At any rate, it’s great.

Bottle: I wish more Amber ales were like this one. Rich aromas of pitted fruit with a beautiful copper color. It has a small off-white fizzy head with mildly sticky lacing. The taste is great showing flavors of rich malts and pitted fruit as well as wheat. Good balance with the hops as well. The feel is smashing - giving the consumer a creamy, smooth feel. It goes in easy and goes down easy. Delicious.

Poured a cloudy ice tea colour. Thick-looking though without any real head. Herby, vegetal aroma. Closer olfactory observance reveals solid malt. Floral hops and a fairly intense bitterness grasp the tongue. What I really noticed was a pleasant pipe tobacco flavour with a hint of smoke balanced with complex hops. There’s even some peanut butter and, to top it off, apricot. Compared to what I’ve had his one puts other ambers to shame.

Nice beer, I love drinking this beer at the brewery. The mouth feel is wonderful, and the hops.
