Commercial Description:
Fish Tale IPA is a medium bodied ale with a bright golden color and robust strength. While Pale, Carastan, and Munich malts lend a gentle sweetness and balance to the background palate, this ale is dedicated to complex hop flavor.

Bottle poured a lightly hazy copper with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness, grapefruit, light pine and a hint of orange. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of orange, grapefruit, light pine and light carmel with a crisp dry lingering bitter finish.

on tap-pours a white head that laces and gold color. Aroma is citrus/cascade hops, secondary medium malt. Taste is nice, mild citrus /cascade hops with very little bite, secondary medium malt. OK effervescence/soft carbonation.

Refreshing. Not very heavily hopped IPA. I don’t know if it’s the "organic" label that makes this a lightly hopped beer. Still, very nice. Very drinkable.

Nice bronzey golden glow, clear with a few slow bubbles of carbonation flowing in the middle. Soft, thin topping of whitish foam lasts only briefly before hitting its always stable position of dusty mist and collaring. Lots of thick lacing in bottom tattered sheeting. Could smell this right away as it was being poured, quite a nice clean array of pale peachy resin juices and soft delicate pine notes. Almost has a certain smokey sense to it that carries a wheat germ or breadish quality. Quite nice and fairly unique. Taste is clean and pale with a smallish tint of smoldering pine and dullish citrus. I kinda get a mess of unripe mango, some lemon notes, dull pineapple, and a bit of tangerine in there. Very soft and delicate on the palate. I guess that whole organic thing takes away from some of the excitement it might have had otherwise? Hard to say...but its a very easy drinker. Mostly malty with a slender sweetened round tone to it. The hoppyness is fluffy and kinda piney with some of the citric stuff hitting here and there. No real finish for an IPA however as its light nature is more akin to a Belgian Pale. I do like it, just not quite up to par for IPA standards. Body is a lighter medium with a creamy center and a slender pulling hoppy tone to it. Crisp, fresh, and rounded, but lacking a real IPA grunge or flare. Very drinkable for the most part. Even though it doesn’t quite fit the bill of a soild IPA, its well-crafted and tastes good enough for some decent sessioning.

pours a cloudy tangerine orange with a small white head. smell is sweet, citrus, apricots and cream, and a little bit of hops. taste is hops, grass, bitter, a little sweet, and has that definite organic aftertaste, also leaves the mouth on the dry side.

355ml bottle.
Pours a foggy deep orange with a small head that fades to a nice ring of foam. Small amount of lacing. Smells very fresh with sour citrus fruit hops. Taste folows the aroma. Generously hopped on a bed of faint sweetness. Smooth feel with soft carbonation. Good beer.

Bottle courtesy of Piscator34: Poured an hazy deep amber color ale with a nice foamy head with some good retention but minimal lacing. Aroma of medium bitter hops with some subtle citrus notes. Taste is also dominated by some medium bitter hoppy notes with some subtle malt presence. Above average body with some medium carbonation. I thought this was OK overall but probably one the most disappointing beers in this organic series.

Bottle: Decent murky-amber color with a whopping 3 finger sticky cap that lasts and laces....musty-citrus sweet aroma.....denct malts to hop balance...toffee malts-citrus pine hops ..develops some earthy-woody tones...wet finish. Decent IPA in the cascade style.
