Nice head formation, fluffy and white, settles to a ring around the edges of the glass leaving patches of lace. Citrus aroma featuring lemon and grapefruit, sweet orange. Grapefruity hops are at the forefront of flavour for this beer, underpinned by soft malt character, mild sweetness. Grapefruit finish. Lighter side of IPA, but a good, sessionable ale. mnurda (434), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 5, 2007 12oz bottle. Pours a clear golden with a small white head that leaves minimal lacing. Aroma of citrus and sweet malt. Taste is the same with a wonderfull citrusy hop bitterness. More of a pale ale then an IPA but very enjoyable. k9coug (41), USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 3, 2007 Grapefruit like, very strong aroma of a certain hop (Willamete’s?) that I really enjoyed. Tasted fishy to me (not a bad thing). Might have been subconscious from the label. I did have it in Western WA with salmon, however. I have the marketing using "organic." hayduke (1654), Eureka, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 2, 2007 Updated: Jan 22, 2009From a bottle this poured a cloudy orange with a medium white head and good lacing. Nose of citrus and a somewhat rich mouthfeel. Flavor is caramel malts, and some hops, which are mild for an IPA. Much better than average and enjoyable to drink. tytoanderso (1387), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 29, 2007 Bottle. pours yellowish amber with minimal head. Standard sour fruit/hop IPA aromas. Exactly the same on the palate. Decent hops and malt. Nothing spectacular. Session IPA. swanmann (309), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 16, 2007 Bottle poured slightly hazey copper color w/ a thinnish, slightly sustained beige-orange head. Rather weak aroma of floral hops and some sweet malts. Slightly bitter, a little sweet and a little watery. Disappointing. fakepurseninja (785), Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 3, 2007 One of the best looking IPA’s ive seen - Strange sourness to it, bitter but the hops seem to be MIA. Heavy and malty but not much flavor. Solid drink but much more bland than it looks.
