Commercial Description:
Fish Tale IPA is a medium bodied ale with a bright golden color and robust strength. While Pale, Carastan, and Munich malts lend a gentle sweetness and balance to the background palate, this ale is dedicated to complex hop flavor.

12 oz bottle from World of Beer in Clearwater.
The body is an orange tinted yellow-gold and holds a very bubbly white head that is a thumb thick and someowhat creamy on top.
Funky grapefruit, resiny mary-jane and some light sweet malt.
Very light fore gets grapefruit bitter through the middle. Fairly thin bodied. Hops dominate the lightly sweet, reserved malt profile. Finish is grassy and bitter.

This beer looks and smells wonderful, but initially taste sour and blah. It gets a little bit better after a couple sips, but think it needs some preservatives to make it from Washington to WI and still taste good.

Cold 12oz bottle: Pours a clear golden orange color with a thin layer of alabaster bubbles that mostly dissolve. Aroma is of sweet malts, pine, ginger, and citrus. Taste is of sweet malts, subtle hops, light caramel and citrus. Watery texture for an IPA. Smooth and mildly carbonated.

The aroma is a nice combination of hop aromas (citrus, pine, and floral) with caramel malt. The appearance is orange gold with a small foamy head. The flavor is an exact copy of the aroma. The palate is smooth and the aftertaste is light but sweet with a lingering citrus element. Overall this is not a complex beer but it sure is a good tasting, quality beer. It’s nice, and well balanced.

33cl bottle, Winnipeg. Powerful hoppy aroma, does not transfer to the flavour, but still quite hoppy.Head disappears quickly, long bitter finish, nice beer.

A faint salty, oily, ashen salmon/ fishiness (taste more than smell) to go with fish on label. I do not think I’m imagining it, guys. Earthy. piney, and ashy due to lack of hops. Uneven.

Pours a light bronze color with mild carbonation and a creamy head. Pine and citrus aromas greet the nose. Hops hit you up front, malt mid palate, and a mouth coating expansive hop finish.
