| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 19, 2006 12 oz. bottle from Liquid Solutions. Pours hazy, medium amber with barely a thin layer of bubbles despite a vigorous pour. Mild aroma, lightly toasty malts, clover, floral and lemony hops. The flavor is fairly unremarkable, (but I’ll remark on it anyway) hop dominated with some toasty malts evident among the citrus, lemon and sprucey hops. One thing I must say is that this organic brew doesn’t have the "ashy" taste that I’ve found in several other organic offerings. Medium body and slightly prickly carbonation. bikesandbeers (468), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 19, 2006 Picked up a sixer at the Sacramento Natural Food coop. Poured golden with almost no head. Aroma of citrus and pine lots. After a slight sweet touch, the refreshign bitterness takes over. finishes clean and refreshing. A solid IPA, but nothing to write home about, excpet for its use of organic ingrediants. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 14, 2006 Bottle: Cloudy gold with a small white head. It has an aroma of dry pine needles on the forest floor as well as grapefruit rind. It follows this with a wonderful bitter taste of junipers, pine and a light wheat flavor. The aftertaste is dry and it has higher than average carbonation. The body seems just right - not too big, not too small. Delirium (501), Santa Cruz, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 13, 2006 Draught. Pours orange/amber with a small white head. Very piney aroma, plus some other vegetal components; almost all hops in the aroma. Flavor starts out a bit more malty; slightly sweet with maybe fresh citrus. The hops are more bittering here, although a bit of pine is still detectable, with a hint of grapefruit in the finish. Clean on the palate. A solid Northwest IPA. unclemattie (2427), Georgia, USA
