Commercial Description:
Fish Tale IPA is a medium bodied ale with a bright golden color and robust strength. While Pale, Carastan, and Munich malts lend a gentle sweetness and balance to the background palate, this ale is dedicated to complex hop flavor.

Pours a golden color with a light head that fades to a film quickly. Has a light hop aroma. Not alot of flavor. Some hops and some residual malt sweetness. Has a dry bitter finish. Light to medium body. Worth a try.

Clear golden color. The white head was thin with large quickly dissipating bubbles. Aroma is really light. I’m letting is warm and still nothing. I’m starting to smell some alcohol and what seems like Warrior hops that give it a floral and maybe orange soda kind of aroma. The more I think about it and taste it this beer has more and more of an orange soda flavor that probably comes from the late addition hops. It mixes well with the grapefruit bitterness quality of the hops. This beer could use a tad more malt backbone. The aftertaste is mostly bitterness from the hops.

From a 12 oz. long neck brown bottle with the USDA certified organic label on the upper left of bottle label. Made a good appearance, poured a slightly chill hazy golden hued orange with a fluffy white head that settled into a thin creamy lacing, minimal amount of sticking, good carbonation. Had leafy, floral and subtle fruity nose framed by a caramel maltiness. A crisp, creamy smooth medium bodied mouth feel, above average drinkability. Leafy and grassy taste upfront, hop coarse on the tongue, a nice biting bitterness that fades during the taste, a light citric fruitiness, a caramel maltiness underneath with a sly butteriness and a dry grassy and buttery finish. A decent organic AIPA from Fish Brewing, I think this is better from the tap than from the bottle, but if on sale, I would definitely buy again.

Bottle: (Tall hefe glass) Pours amber brown-yellow @ bottom in color, cloudy. Smallish white head. Hoppy aroma, but light aroma. Hoppy taste, malty, dry bitter slightly acidic aftertaste, not much flavor. Light.

A lighter colored amber pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is a pleasant blend of sweet and hoppiness. Taste is lacking the defining hops presence of a top IPA. Some maltiness is present to go with the floral hops and slight fruity tones. Decent, but not one to seek out.

Pours golden w/ shallow creamy froth. Crisp flowers on the nose. Medium nectar w/ ample residual effers. A thin specimin w/ crsip clean flavors. Slight asprin finish. Very different, a more delicate style. Just a hopped up P.A. The flavrs are very enjoyable but not what I like in an IPA.

A hazy orange beer with a disappearing off-white head. The aroma is sweet and very hoppy, combined with a touch of caramel. The flavor is sweet with lots of caramel and lots of hops, but also a touch of butter, leading to a dry bitter, hoppy, and fruity end.
