Sep 1, 2009 Bottle thanks to Ditmier. Pours a semi dark amber with a light head. Not a strong aroma but its not bad...Citrusy and a bit malty. Taste is pretty decent..again with the citrus and malt. Has a peculiar burn in the finish, fairly light and crisp palate. Not bad at all

Jul 28, 2009 From tap at Hop yard in Pleasanton. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is light hops fruity. Light acidic to orange fruity hops flavour. Light infection note too. Ends dry and bitter.

Jul 10, 2009 Fish Tale Organic India Pale Ale is a hazy, medium-light amber ale with a light khaki film of a head with a cluster of big bubbles and thick sheets of lacing. Fresh, bright hops are in the nose. It’s very piny, with a resinous (pine tar?) note from the malt. It smells great. It’s medium bodied, silky and soft with a dry, fluffy finish. It has a huge, bitter flavor. It’s very piny and well supported by a resiny malt flavor. It’s very good and to the point.

Jun 27, 2009 Six pack of 12 oz bottles from New Seasons Market - Portland. Nice orange cloudy pour. Nose was weaker thamn expected for an IPA. Taste was missing a driving hops note that defines IPA. Seemed more like a pale than IPA to me. Not a bad beer, but I would not consider trying it again.
