Not a strong aroma but its not bad...Citrusy and a bit malty. Taste is pretty decent..again with the citrus and malt. Has a peculiar burn in the finish, fairly light and crisp palate. Not bad at all highibus (441), Mill Creek, Washington, USA

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 10, 2009 Fish Tale Organic India Pale Ale is a hazy, medium-light amber ale with a light khaki film of a head with a cluster of big bubbles and thick sheets of lacing. Fresh, bright hops are in the nose. It’s very piny, with a resinous (pine tar?) note from the malt. It smells great. It’s medium bodied, silky and soft with a dry, fluffy finish. It has a huge, bitter flavor. It’s very piny and well supported by a resiny malt flavor. It’s very good and to the point. hawk1 (12), Portland, Oregon, USA

Nose was weaker thamn expected for an IPA. Taste was missing a driving hops note that defines IPA. Seemed more like a pale than IPA to me. Not a bad beer, but I would not consider trying it again.
