Commercial Description:
Fish Tale IPA is a medium bodied ale with a bright golden color and robust strength. While Pale, Carastan, and Munich malts lend a gentle sweetness and balance to the background palate, this ale is dedicated to complex hop flavor.

Nothing really stands out. Slightly cloudy, slightly hoppy, slightly malty. It is tasty but as I have been told by some experts "organic" is nothing more than a marketing tool. Meaning an underpaid Hispanic worker walked by a plant, killed one bug, then walked off so they could resume pesticide spraying. Organic by definition. Whatever.

From the bottle.

Pours a clear light orange with limited head. The aroma is floral with citrus; the flavor is straightforward hops with a hint of pepper and, unfortunately, a somewhat medicinal quality and alcohol bite. Mouthfeel is a bit prickly and otherwise not particular substantial.

Another tolerable but not outstanding IPA.

Hazy straw color. Perfume and orange peel in the aroma, along with some vaguely decaying aroma that hints of, well, sewage.Flavor is a bit grainy, light and lemony. I get a bit of yeast bit here to go with the huskiness/tannic. I thought this was a lot stronger from the flavor - the alcohol does come through a bit. Some flaws and overall not one I’d seek out again.

Golden-copper body and a foamy, dusty white head. Aroma of sweet citrus and nectarine hops and kids’ cereal. Flavor is hop focused with characters of citrus, stone fruit, and mild cat pee late. Fairly dry with medium bitterness. The hop profile in the flavor isn’t very interesting and the bitterness could stand to be more lacerating. Just a fair IPA overall. Thanks Stan.

Bottle. Copper colored beer with a nice light beige head. Light grapefruit aroma. Citrus/caramel flavor with some grassy graininess. Not overly bitter. A few off flavors at end.

Light copper in colour. Some mild grapefruit and light malt aromatic notes. The smell reminds me of Anchor Liberty Ale, only slightly less pungent. Watery body, with some caramel notes. There’s a citrus hop flavor in there too, but there is also a tannic "spent hops" flavor which is not so good. It lacks some bitterness too.

Appearance of a lightly hazy amber bronzed body and a bountiful off white head. The aroma is noticeably hoppy… citrus zests and pinesap. The flavor is where the beer falls apart for me… some caramel malts but the hops comes across as astringent and lacking character…. Exciting aroma but a deficient off centered flavor. The palate is juicy yet leaves a dry and lightly metallic finish.

12 oz bottle. Hazy orange gold beer, with a thick sticky white head. Sweet fruity aroma. Finally I know what Pacific Gem hops are, similar orange citrus an dbright spicy flavour as in Emerson’s Pilsner and Maris Gold beer. A touch of resin and a sweet pale malt backbone. A touch of biscuit. Great flavour, orange, hoppy spiciness (not noble). Sweet full body with nice hop resins, and a lingering bitter finish. Bready finish with a touch of pine. Tap at GCBF. Pale amber colour, thin tan head. Fruity hop aroma, light resin, a bit of caramel malt and some yeastiness. Flavour is well-balanced, fruity, tropical mango aroma. Fairly sweet fruity flavour. 7/3/7/3/14
