Commercial Description:
Fish Tale IPA is a medium bodied ale with a bright golden color and robust strength. While Pale, Carastan, and Munich malts lend a gentle sweetness and balance to the background palate, this ale is dedicated to complex hop flavor.

Hazy deep gold in color with a medium white head. Floral hops in the aroma and flavor with a moderate bitterness and a dry finish.

Hazy amber colour. Woody aroma with hints of caramel. Slightly sweet flavour overall with hints of miny, piney hops. Not the most intense IPA on the market but well-structured and enjoyable.

Very drinkable balanced IPA. Not over the top hops and a very nice malt body to balance the beer.

Looks like I’m at the high end of the curve for this one. Thanks to Buck Dich. I’m all about balance. I love a mouth puckering hop whallop as much as the next hophead, but subtle balance and complexity are amazing things. This one pours hazy orangish, with a medium, creamy white head. Aroma of malt, hops, perfumy florals, ground black pepper. Tastes malty, hoppy, with floral esters, perfumy elements, and mucho black pepper.....very solid perfumy florals in this, and tons of black pepper taste and smell. Smooth palate. As it warmed, the black pepper element became stronger and I even detected a subdued rauchy element. Amazing balance, amazing complexity. Suffice it to say that I loved this one.

Hazy gold with a smallish head. Malt predominates the aroma, some hops in the background. Somewhat peppery. Medium bodied, but not enough intensity in the flavor or aroma to make this a top notch IPA. Thanks to Buch Dich for this one!

(12 oz bottle) This IPA has two main components: bready maltiness early and a moderately bitter hoppiness coming on in the finish. There’s a light sweetness from start to finish. It’s decent, inoffensive and easy drinking, but nothing groundbreaking here. Very bready aroma with almost no hoppiness in the nose. Medium bodied. Golden in color and slightly hazy. Off-white head pours to an average size, but the speed in which the head diminishes to a sheen is anything but average, disappearing faster than a budget surplus in the hands of the Bush Administration. Some irregularly shaped lacing is left on the glass.

A typical amber/orange IPA color with a small but nice head that leaves lots of lace. Aroma is mainly citrus and a little weak. Starts off tasting great but turns into dry sugar water after the swallow. Hops are not strong but pleasing. Definitely not one the best IPAs I’ve tasted but it is pleasant to drink.

Nice deep gold with hints of amber and small head. Creamy citric vanilla nose with malt and piney hops. Med weight with carmel sweetness in the mid palate and a dry lingering finish. Carmel, malt light fruit, vanill and some citrus in the palate. Nice beer though not really to style.
