| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 7, 2008 [Bottle] Pours golden-orange with a small cream colored head. Quite a good hoppy aroma. Taste is strong with piney hops with some citrus also present. Medium mouthfeel. A pretty good beer, although after learning about what makes other products able to be certified organic I am left wondering what the criteria is for beer. Guerde (710), Welcome, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 22, 2008 (bottle) Pours a cloudy amber with a small white head. Good hop aroma with an intermingling of citrusy/piney hop notes. The taste had a great balance of caramel malt sweetness and hop bitterness which really worked nicely. This beer had a medium mouthfeel and is slightly underrated in my opinion. paulmetzger (152), Pocatello, Idaho, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 3, 2008 Single bottle from Grape Vine in Pocatello, ID. Pours straw golden with light carbonation. Decent but quickly dissipating head. The hops in this one, both in aroma and flavor, are a bit of a mishmash. Fruity and bitter at the same time in both nose and mouth. That said, both are quite good, at least to a hop-head like me. A bit weaker of an IPA than many, but I enjoy how it brings the hops to the front and is quenching rather than filling.
I’m alright with it being organic -- in other beers that seems to be an excuse for lack of craftsmanship. All around, this beer is a winner.

Pours a semi-clear light orange amber brew with a slowly dissipates and leaves behind some good lacing and a white ring. Aroma of a good balance of grassy and citrus hops, some dry caramel malt and a touch of orange zest. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with more caramel malt flavor on top of grapefruit and orange zest. Finish is dry with a slight mild bitter aftertaste that lingers around. mwelsh13 (483), Maryland, USA

Deep golden color with a hint of orange. Nice amount of bitterness, does not overpower the sweetness. Light body flavor with good carbonation. Very different from east coast IPAs (DFH) but enjoyable because it is different. BrewDad (2370), Olympia, Washington, USA

Aroma – Nice hoppy aroma with some malt and spices in the background.
Appearance – Light Amber in color. Clear with a nice foamy head.
Flavor – Rich IPA flavor with some good malts this was a decent IPA. Needed a tad more rich malts and was lacking in the Banana flavor a deep IPA would have.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, with a dry finish.
Overall – A decent IPA this needed more for me t really go for this IPA. I wish it had more hops and more rich flavors t make it go wow.
