| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 11, 2009 Pours clear bright yellow to slight orange, contrasting thin white head that gives good belgian lace.
Nose is soft, with aromas of peach juices, and honey.
Palate is rounded with sweet maltiness in there with the hops, rather malty for an IPA. Again, soft fruitiness is there - honeydew melon or cantaloupe, with not a lot of hop bite for an IPA. dnstone (232), Mons, Belgium

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 21, 2009 Bottle. Good flavor with slight hops with aroma of light malt and caramel. Pours a dark orange/light amber. Not much of a head on this one. A pleasant drink but nothing that sticks with you. Fair IPA. JohnnyJ (1351), Carlsbad, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 20, 2009 On tap at PP Carlsbad. Orange pour, white head. Citrus, malt, light fruit, and a bit of caramel. Easy drinking and not very interesting. MrBunn (1547), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 12, 2009 Bottle with thanks to coyotehunter. Pours a burnt amber with a little bit of a head and weak aromas of caramel and light fruity citrus. Flavor is overly malty for the style... especially for a West Coast example. Start is all caramel and then grapefruit and fruit start to take over. Still, the hops blast isn’t very convincing. Nothing offensive about it, but nothing to compelling either. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 2, 2009 This is a very good, solid West Coast IPA, flavourful and hoppy in character, yet balanced.
Slightly hazy amber, it has a medium head, off-white, that steadily shrinks to a wispy top and ring. It has a little thin lace.
The aroma is grpafeuity with candied citrus, grain, caramel hint, raisiny alcohol.
The taste is grapefuity at first, but this is restrained and lemon zest, green laves and a sweetness of caramelly raisin and candied citrus backs it up. The bitterness, predominasntly cirusy, just dominates the sweetness and the zesy character lingers nicely. The feel is firm and both it and the character hold up. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 17, 2009 This one poured a hazy orange color with an off white head. Aroma was of lighter citrus hops and some malty sweetness. Flavor was a bit sweet, but not overwhelming, with refreshing hop character. Nothing too harsh but refreshing.
