Commercial Description:
Named for the majestic creatures which embody the proud spirit of the Republic of Cascadia, Wild Salmon Pale Ale is a light bodied and beautifully balanced Northwest-style pale ale. Its gentle sweetness, drawn from Pale, Carastan, Vienna, Cara-pils, and Honey malts is nicely matched by Chinook hops and late additions of Cascade and Willamette hops. Northwest Pale Ale enthusiasts will love this beer as much as they love the beautiful region which has inspired it. In firm commitment to our love of the Great Northwest, the people at Fish Tale Ales are donating a portion of the proceeds from sales of each case and each keg of Wild Salmon Pale Ale to the Save Our Wild Salmon Coalition, helping to rebuild healthy runs of wild Pacific salmon and steelhead. On draught or by the bottle, this treat from Fish Tale Ales is remarkably bright with a brilliant golden color and thick creamy head. Wild Salmon Pale Ale is sparkling and crisp with a fresh hop aroma and refreshing finish.

Has the aroma of a nice Pale Ale. A slightly cloudy but bright amber in color. Thick rich head. Nicely carbonated so that it stings your tongue just a bit. All of these attributes did not contribute to a pale that I would go out of the way for. It is drinkable, and pretty tasty. But I was waiting for something to distinguish this taste from othe pales bud didn’t find it.

33 cl bottle, Winnipeg. Hoppy aroma, thin texture, quite carbonated. Flavorful, long finish, lingering aftertaste that I can’t quite place.

12 oz bottle via Liquid Solutions. Pours a semi hazy copper with an average-size head. Mild aroma of pine, grapefruit and fresh bread. Thin bodied and well carbonated. Tastes begins with some caramel, then some grapefruit and pine come into play and stay in the finish and aftertaste. A bit too carbonated, but otherwise an ok SESSION beer.

Bottle. Pours with lively carbonation and a nice, healthy head and lace. Fruity hops aroma that would make a nice air freshener for a drunkard. Very hoppy, yet in a sweet, fruity way. Never over-the-top. Thick mouthfeel that glides along the tongue with ease. The low ABV combined with the great taste would make this a welcome session brew.

Dark golden color, medium frothy head. Malt bread and apricot taste - not overly sweet. Honey and malt in the nose. Decent brew!

12oz bottle poured a slightly cloudy pale color with a big rocky white head. Aroma was very spicy, not expected. Taste was crisp with a shot of hop bitterness and a dry finish. A decent pale that is out of the ordinary.

Hazy gold color with a small white head. Citrus and spice aroma and flavor with mild malt character. Medium bodied, unassertive pale ale, but well made for what it is.
