Commercial Description:
Named for the majestic creatures which embody the proud spirit of the Republic of Cascadia, Wild Salmon Pale Ale is a light bodied and beautifully balanced Northwest-style pale ale. Its gentle sweetness, drawn from Pale, Carastan, Vienna, Cara-pils, and Honey malts is nicely matched by Chinook hops and late additions of Cascade and Willamette hops. Northwest Pale Ale enthusiasts will love this beer as much as they love the beautiful region which has inspired it. In firm commitment to our love of the Great Northwest, the people at Fish Tale Ales are donating a portion of the proceeds from sales of each case and each keg of Wild Salmon Pale Ale to the Save Our Wild Salmon Coalition, helping to rebuild healthy runs of wild Pacific salmon and steelhead. On draught or by the bottle, this treat from Fish Tale Ales is remarkably bright with a brilliant golden color and thick creamy head. Wild Salmon Pale Ale is sparkling and crisp with a fresh hop aroma and refreshing finish.

Hazy amber golden ale with a nice thick creamy off white head. A funky hops aroma, with notes of peppers and chinese 5 spices. Nice and herbal. In mouth, a crisp malt gives way to very german styled hops, very short in mouth, and rather thin. Quaffabe. Bottle from from MLCB, via Piscator. Merci Kris.

Hazy orange amber, thick faintly orange-yellow head. Aromas of soft citrus, and brown sugar. Very nice combination of soft sweet malt and zippy green hops. I really enjoyed this, more so than their IPA.

Pours a medium golden yellow with a small white head. Aromas of hops, citrus, and malts. Flavors of hops and grains, kinda thin. Nice clean crisp finish.

Clear golden color with weak off white head (thin with big bubbles). Very light aroma. I think I smell malt and some sourness like lemon. Strange taste with the lemon like sourness mixed with a lightly roasted malt flavor. The aftertaste is mostly hop bitterness and sour lemon. Not a beer I’d try again.

Pours a hazy, orange amber with a rocky off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit, malt with a little spice. Meduim body and carbonation. Flavor is malt and citrus with a piney bitterness to finish.

Pours light hazy copper with medium off-white head. Aroma of smoked malts and hops. Flavor is well developed with a good hop presence... smokey and malt. Definitely worth a try.

Pours slightly hazed, amber copper with a medium sized creamy froth. Aroma is smokey with a little sulfur. I like that. Nectar weight is medium with residual effers. Flavors are upfront smoke and new leather with a slight hoppy bitterness to finish. Overall: an earthy style worthy of mention and a second glass. Highly recommended.
