Commercial Description:
Named for the majestic creatures which embody the proud spirit of the Republic of Cascadia, Wild Salmon Pale Ale is a light bodied and beautifully balanced Northwest-style pale ale. Its gentle sweetness, drawn from Pale, Carastan, Vienna, Cara-pils, and Honey malts is nicely matched by Chinook hops and late additions of Cascade and Willamette hops. Northwest Pale Ale enthusiasts will love this beer as much as they love the beautiful region which has inspired it. In firm commitment to our love of the Great Northwest, the people at Fish Tale Ales are donating a portion of the proceeds from sales of each case and each keg of Wild Salmon Pale Ale to the Save Our Wild Salmon Coalition, helping to rebuild healthy runs of wild Pacific salmon and steelhead. On draught or by the bottle, this treat from Fish Tale Ales is remarkably bright with a brilliant golden color and thick creamy head. Wild Salmon Pale Ale is sparkling and crisp with a fresh hop aroma and refreshing finish.

Nice medium golden color, small white head that lasted for quite awhile.Mild malt aroma with a sweet hoppiness to it.slightly fruity with a very mild spicey tone to it.GRAPEFRUIT is the big flavor here with a slightly sweet taste and a mild spiceiness, strong hop taste that shows up in a huge way along with the citrus. This is one hel of a brew.the after taste is grapefruit bitterness and hops.what a deal. Can these guy's brew a bad beer, hard to say at this point, but IMO they do a very nice job here on this one.

Pours slightly hazed, amber copper with a medium sized creamy froth. Aroma is smokey with a little sulfur. I like that. Nectar weight is medium with residual effers. Flavors are upfront smoke and new leather with a slight hoppy bitterness to finish. Overall: an earthy style worthy of mention and a second glass. Highly recommended.

355ml bottle.
Pours a nice hazy orange-brown. White thin head that leaves a little bit of nice lacing. Aroma is dominated by fresh smelling citrus hops and maybe even some caramel as it warms. Taste is sour, bitter and floral, following the smell closely. Medium body, nice mouthfeel. Aggressive carbonation gives it a bit of a bite. Quite refreshing

Bottle. Pours with lively carbonation and a nice, healthy head and lace. Fruity hops aroma that would make a nice air freshener for a drunkard. Very hoppy, yet in a sweet, fruity way. Never over-the-top. Thick mouthfeel that glides along the tongue with ease. The low ABV combined with the great taste would make this a welcome session brew.

Nice color and head out of the bottle with a strong, hoppy nose. There is a nice hoppy bitterness with a very clean, dry finish. Well balanced and very drinkable.

Looks like I may stand with only a select few raters that really liked this beer. Pale Ale though? Hmmm. Lightly hazed orange, creamy white head. For a 4% beer, the nose seemed pretty damn complex with crazy notes of smoked salmon (lox for the Jews in de house), wood, salt, light citrusy orange, grains, and hints of sweet toffee. Flavor was similar with the light smoked tones intermingled nicely with the citrus, wood, and caramel malt. Real interesting and somewhat unique. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying, woodsy, citric finish. I’d like to down several of these with my Sunday morning bagel binge.....l’achaim!

Bottle courtesy of Piscator 34: Poured a cloudy orangey/beige color ale with a big foamy head. Aroma of sweet malt with a nice floral hoppy touch. Taste is also quite sweet with some nice floral notes and a medium bitter finish. Body is quite full with limited filtration and good carbonation. I really liked how the hops provide a nice floral aspects without bringing too much bitterness to the beer.
