A pitch black beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of both chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of both roasted malt, chocolate, and coffee.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours completely black and opaque with a light brown head. Vinous aroma of raisins and burned malts. Extremely full-bodied with tons of roasted, lightly burned malt and notes of dried fruits. Distinct alcohol and a bitter, burned finish. A gigantic beer - but hard to finish. Simply too rich. 160806 and 070907

Blind tasting at sk8vikings porter / stout tasting, beer no 32. Pours dark brown with a red hue. Raisin sweet malty with a dried note. Dried raisin and fruity flavour, with malt note note beneath. Dried finish, well balanced and still with a clear alcohol finish and hoppy flavour.

Black with dark brown highlights. Slightly earthy, deeply roasty aroma with some alcohol notes. Bitter chocolate flavours, chewy fruitcake and light roast. Oily body. Thick. Heavy, dense but a bit tough to choke back and the flavours a little simplistic, clunky.

Pitch black with a nice, creamy head. The aroma has light notes of smoke, roasted malt and licorice. The flavour also has hints of smoke, notes of roasted malt, licorice, dark fruit and chocolate and the finish is slightly dry. The body is full and nice and the balance is very nice! Thank you Tom/After4ever for this nice one!
