Commercial Description:
This is the Cascadian ale brewed for the season of celebrations. Very pale and full bodied with a rich flavor imparted by Pale and Honey malt and assertively friendly hop character. The hop profile is quite distinct, featuring 100% Yakima Chinook hops in the kettle for bittering, flavor and aroma. In fact, this is the hoppiest beer yet from the Mighty Fish Brewers, and perhaps the hoppiest Winter seasonal you’ll have the pleasure to taste this year.

New Beer in Town

One of the most unique IPA aromas I have ever encountered! There is so much apricot and tangerine… Very Fruity… It’s not that big zesty citrus that I’ve become accustom to in my IPA’s! The malts have a distinctive easygoing smokiness in the finish that offers an outstanding strangeness the overall experience! –Nice Take on IPA, Fish Tale!

12 oz bottle from World of Beer, Clearwater.
Orange/tan in color with a slightly bubbly, but mostly creamy tan white head.
Aroma is light pine, grapefruit, orange zest, lemon peel, caramel malt and a hint of ground pepper.
The fore has caramel malt, citrusy hops and again a hint of pepper, but it is less pronounced in the flavor. It’s just your standard, very well made, IPA that doesn’t go insane, but is definitely not tame.

12 oz bottle bottle via Roths. Pours a clear amber with an average size beige head, leaves lots of spidery lace as it dissipates. Nose is mostly citrus and pine. Very tastey and very hoppy for a Winter beer. Starts out with some sweet orange, then some bitter orange/grapefruit, then some molsasses, and finishes with a perfectly balanced bitterweet sweetness with a little pepper thrown in the mix. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. This is an excellant beer.

sharply citrus hops. head thin and quickly gone. flattish and dense in the mouth, some good aroma escaping. my tongue is quickly numbed, grapefruit peeling, vague sense of honey. quite visceral. sugar-alcohol warming. sense the malt more by the weight than what my tongue can see. the hops keeps echoing in the finish.

12 oz single. Darkish orange beer with a small off white head, that goes fast, leaving some lace. Great sweet spicy hop aromas more grapefruit than pine! Lovelly tasty IPA indeed..great flavors of pink grapefruit and sour berries and a wonderful honeyish sweetness to balance the tartness. Very nice mouthfeel quite smooth and delictable. Overall a very very nice IPA.

clear golden tan body with a thin yellow/white laced head, grapefruit hop nose, rich hop attack in the initial sip, thick in the mouth, bitter tinge in the finish, fresh.

One of my favorites at the WA Cask Festival. Big hops abound. Nice and thick palate. Warm, bitter finish.

12 oz bottle into an Shaker glass. Pours a very clear and non-bubbly copper color with a tiny hint of light brown. The head is white and quite frothy. Well done lacing. The aroma on this one is fairly malty for an IPA. Very sweet, and really not hoppy at all. You can just barely pick up some toffee and/or caramel. The flavor first kicks in with that sweet malt from the nose, then gently slides into a mild bitter hop note backed by the somewhat grapefruity and peachy malt. It ends with somewhat of a tiny bitter note sticking to the tongue. Very smooth, medium bodied. Not quite sure what I think about this one. It’s not very interesting, and it really doesn’t fit the profile of a Winter brew at all...kind of weird!
