Commercial Description:
This is the Cascadian ale brewed for the season of celebrations. Very pale and full bodied with a rich flavor imparted by Pale and Honey malt and assertively friendly hop character. The hop profile is quite distinct, featuring 100% Yakima Chinook hops in the kettle for bittering, flavor and aroma. In fact, this is the hoppiest beer yet from the Mighty Fish Brewers, and perhaps the hoppiest Winter seasonal you’ll have the pleasure to taste this year.

Well balanced maltiness and hops. Flavor is assertive and finished well. Darker that I thought an IPA should be at first, but great taste was overwhelming in the end.

Bottle Pours a cloudy orange/light amber. Very small off white head, but nce thin sheets of lacing. Maintaining a ring at al times. Aroma is quite fruity. Grapefruit, tangerines I dont detect much in the way of pines. Some hint of the 7% ABV lurking. First sip is a surprise. Musty, woody and thin. LIngering bitterness was not the pleasant hoppiness that I expected. I honestly hope this is not supposed to taste like this. Dissapointing.

Enjoyable mix of bitter citrus hops and moderately sweet malt. Definitely a bit sweeter than your average NW IPA, but very fitting for a winter version.

Cloudy orange brown color...sweet fruity aroma of peaches and apples with hints of honey. Hops dominate up front with a sticky sweet body that finishes dry with a bit of fruitiness.

I did not enjoy this at all. I got a couple of sips into it and poured this one down the drain. A huge salty, smoky taste of peat, almost like you would expect from certain regions of Scotch. Warm band-aid aroma, big malt character na d not alot of the hops I was expecting. Yuck!
