Commercial Description:
This is the Cascadian ale brewed for the season of celebrations. Very pale and full bodied with a rich flavor imparted by Pale and Honey malt and assertively friendly hop character. The hop profile is quite distinct, featuring 100% Yakima Chinook hops in the kettle for bittering, flavor and aroma. In fact, this is the hoppiest beer yet from the Mighty Fish Brewers, and perhaps the hoppiest Winter seasonal you’ll have the pleasure to taste this year.

Bottle. Clear golden hue with good head and lacing. Floral nose with notes of some kind of spice. Smooth malty flavor with a good grapefruit bitterness for balance. Nice beer.

Thanks to Bück Dich for this! Medium amber color that builds up a creamy off white head. Yeast and honey aroma. Smooth, with lots of body and a sweet palate that finishes with a nice bitter bite at the very end. Alcohol hidden well. Not bad.

Poured a medium, hazy amber color with a large (4.5 finger) off white head. Hoppy/grapefruit aroma with light caramel malts. Grapefruit also comes through strong in the taste. Light malty sweet balance. This was not what I was expecting from a Winter Beer (but I’m not complaining). Body is a little thin.

Bottle pours dark golden, very cloudy, medium frothy white head, with sticky lacing.   Piney aroma, a bit of ball bearing grease as well.   Mild hop flavor up front, slightly smokey.   Simply body, but mouthfeel is somewhat thick.   Finishes not as hoppy as I recall from prior years.   I swear, open up a can of wheel bearing grease and you will see what I mean.   Take that away and you have a decent IPA, ableit this is supposed to be an English Strong Ale.   Meh...

This is a mighty tasty brew.Juicy fruit hops with some mild yeast. Slighty cloudy orange amber in color. Rich, sweet malt flavor, some caramel apple, some succulent honeycomb pine. Slight bitter, quick finish. An enjoyable ale.

This is a pretty darn good beer that I think is underrated on this site. It has a great yeasty nose and the attack is almost a bit barleywine-ish. Its very luxurios and sits well on the pallate. Another good beer from fish

somewhat medicianl/band-aid tasting, somewhat spicey and dry; I’m not digging this........

Poured a slightly hazy copper color with a medium off white head. Aroma is big on the grapefruit hops. Low on the malt aromas. Taste is very big on the hops both in flavor and in bitterness. Malt sweetness is in the background. The hop profile is citrusy. Medium bodied with a long bitter finish. Reminds me of a big IPA over a winter beer but still nice.
