Bottle, 33 cl. New label since my last taste at ’05. It stills a very good tripel ! Dark golden golden and a big white head. Aroma: herbs, yeast, hops. Medium bodied. Taste sweet, hoppy, yeasty,...

Bottle. Typical Belgian tripel. Golden colour. Nose is slightly floral, yeasty and alcoholic. These characters come through in the palate. Palate is a little fizzy and spritzy. Citric/yeasty/alcohol finish.

Bottle, at Paters Vaeje, Antwerp, Belgium 06-10-06. Golden in colour with a big white head, plenty of yeastyness on the aroma and little fruity. Taste is very decent actually although along with some malts and some sweetness this is predominantly a quite yeasty tasting beer that I rather enjoyed maybe it was because it was just a bit different.

Bottled - De Garre - Brugge. A straw golden coloured beer with a good blanket of a white head. The aroma is yeasty and lemony. The taste is yeasty with peppery hop. Quite standard but clean. Nice enough.

Bottle at De Garre, Bruges. Golden, lasting white head. Some herb on Belgian yeast aroma. Pretty much standard Belgian golden strong beer. Quite strong alcohol, nice though.

Clear gold blond colour, large white head. Fresch malty aroma, light hoppy, and very herby aroma with some sweet hints. Medium body, soft carbonation. Light bitter finish, herby, little astringent, somewhat dry near the end. Not bad.

33 cl bottle, ’bbe’ Feb 07. Amber coloured with a fine, velvety vail of haze, good fizz and a dense, rocky head leaving thick and rich lace. Yeasty aroma with fruit (melon, apricot) and caramel. Smooth malty taste with a spicy background expresses some Irish cream liqueur and quite pronounced alcohol. Good body with a volatile, warming alcoholic finish. Somewhat out of balance - certainly when talking about the alcohol.

Bought at Fedici, Diest. Bleak golden colour, white slowly disappearing fluffy head. Hoppy and yeasty aroma, quite dull. Full fruity mouthfeel.
