This was the seventh of 9 Fitger’s beers I tried on 4-4-08. Aroma of apricot in all forms (fresh, canned, nectar). Sweet, honey smell. Pours a slightly hazy pale gold. Tastes exactly like the name implies: apricot nectar crossed with a light American wheat ale. It tastes fine, but apricot nectar alone would be better. Apricot skin flavor as well. Light body. Smooth and lively in the palate. undsioux7 (560), Cologne, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 5, 2007 sample at pub. A nice mixture of grainy wheat and peach. The apricot doesn’t overtake the beer but sits in the background. gws57 (1138), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA

Cloudy, medium golden pour with a thick white head, sweet apricot and peach nose, very sweet and bready throughout. Very good, especially for the style! Nuffield (2724), Roseville, Minnesota, USA

Glorious apricot--I love it when the fruit really shines through in a authentic (not artificial) way. Fresh, yummy, drinkable. Fizzy. I’m such a sucker for a well-made fruit beer.
