CharlesDarwin (1376), State College, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 17, 2006 On tap at the Red Star Lounge - Duluth, MN My 80th Fitgers! Pour of rubied sienna, with a fringe of whitish. Light candied fruit aroma. Sweet fruit and phenolic spice. The bartender says this beer has some coriander in it. I don’t doubt it. Light alcohol notes. Overall, smooth, silky and very drinkable. Gentle sweet bourbon sugars and a moving even fruit character. Palate is a bit sugary, but lingers with a hint of cherries and apples. After a while, a character of fresh cut green apples really starts to show. Tasty.
