Clearly a barrel aged beer, there is a very nice oak vanilla aroma, with roasted and chocolate malt. Good body structure, not too thick, with just the necessary sweetness; good mix of roasted malt, chocolate malt and finally caramel; the mouthfeel is a bit oily; in the final the liquorice appears along with the roasted malt, and there is some light vanilla shade. Good bitterness, but a bit too much alcohol at the end. Very good, even if a bit confused. Grovlam (3810), Copenhagen, Denmark
