Lunkie (1006), Glen Iris, Australia Jun 28, 2008 Sweet hop malt aroma with lollies. Murky yellow colour with poor head and lacing. Fruit malt hop flavour. Flat palate.
madquacker (505), Canberra ACT, Australia Oct 4, 2008 I tried to like this, but I think I got a bad bottle. Murky kava like colour with no head or carbonation. Flat and stale cardboard and metallic taste. Must be better at the brewery. bluevegie (1769), Perth, Australia Apr 3, 2008 Tried as a sampler at the Five Island Brewery. This was the first beer tried and I was surprised to find it to style. Better nose than their Barbeerian, lemon mainly in the taste and a little thin. MBison (403), Southern Highlands, Australia Mar 11, 2008 Updated: Sep 29, 2008RE-RATE: Bottle (330ml). Poured light gold (quite clear for a beer that claims to be unfiltered) with a small frothy, white head which was mostly lasting. Aroma was of orange zest with coriander, sweet bready malts, some lemon soap notes and a touch of dried banana. Flavor was well balanced with tangy lemon, zesty orange, bready malts, coriander, hint of ginger, light bitterness and a crisp finish. Light bodied with lively carbonation, a dry/creamy mouthfeel and a good finish. Even though the bottle I purchased was not the freshest, it held up quite respectably. Great summer thirst quencher. capretta (10), Australia Oct 6, 2007 nice wit! light, lemon colour with a citrus nose. cloudy thick white head with a wheaty taste. not thin and complex but bold and full bodied. perfect hopping and acidic clean finish. great one for the craft beer beginner. my mrs loves it..
