SubCapt (22), Switzerland Jan 27, 2007 (I’ve finally got some from the place Bov got his from) :o) ...
Straw couloured, with a slight bronze tinge in the light. Decent white, but short-lasting head. Floral, slightly citrusy nose with a piney note. Moderate, but slightly biting condition.
Palate pretty dry, the beer is pretty thin, with a crisp, if a bit tongue-coating, bitterness, with more citrus and pine.
All in all a good surprise, pretty drinkable, tasty and well-balanced for such an "exotic" pale lager. sunevdj (1385), Copenhagen, Denmark May 15, 2007 Řlfestival 2007. Thanks to Per. Pours a clear, light yellow with a spare white head. Smells floral. Modereate sweetness with some hay aromas. Light grassy notes too with hints of honey. Also a light alcoholic touch and a hint of vinegar. Average carbonation. larsga (2149), Oslo, Norway Nov 4, 2007 Thin white head. Paleish yellow body. Light malty rubbery aroma with honeyish notes. Sweetish-dry chalky dry apple and malt taste with honeyish notes. Chemical background. It’s not bad. (0.5l bottle at RBNAG’07.) Bov (4623), Bienne, Switzerland Aug 19, 2006 clear and pale golden colour, little chaotic foam; fresh aroma of paper with a lemony touch; effervescent, medium-bodied at best; clean palate; quite sweet, low (if any) bitterness; lot of residual sugars in the finish - drinkable Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 18, 2007 A light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with strong cardboard notes along with lighter notes of honey. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of cardboard and akaciatree honey, and a light flowery hop note. Surprisingly good. Thanks Per.
